These were the new Christmas DVD releases for the 2009 Christmas season. Some were new to DVD, some are re-releases, and some are just new to this site. I've noted which is which, with info about the re-releases.

Special Features: Featuring Grammy-nominated, big band era greats The King Sisters; guitar virtuoso Alvino Rey; film favorite Robert Clarke; the King Cousins featuring '60s sweetheart Tina Cole (of My Three Sons fame); the King Kiddies; and all the aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters that make up "America s First Family of Song." As a bonus, the 1967 Christmas Show is included in its entirety, featuring a surprise reunion between King Sister Alyce and her son, home from U.S. Army service.

*Note: This is the fourth time that Mickey's Christmas Carol has been released on DVD. Other releases are: Mickey's Magical Christmas, Walt Disney Treasures' Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Vol. 2 and Classic Cartoon Favorites, Vol. 9. Personally, I highly recommend purchasing Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Vol. 2 for the short, as it is the only version on DVD in anamorphic widescreen and also includes the original "Making of" documentary with interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of the late Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey.

*Since the previous release was bare-bones, this is an easy upgrade, if you're a fan of the movie.
